Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invites online application for the post of Operator-cum-technician and Attendant-cum-Technician trainee. There are total 25 vacancies for Operator-cum-Technician trainee and 45 vacancies for Attendant-cum-Technician. All eligible candidates can apply on or before October 26, 2014.
Eligibility Criteria:
For Operator-cum-Technician, Trainee: Candidates should have matriculate degree( Class X ) along with 3-year (full time) Diploma in Engineering in any of the stream (Mechanical/Metallurgy/Electrical/instrumentation/Chemical) from a recognized government institute.
Attendant-cum-Technician, Trainee: Candidates should be 10+2 along with ITI degree (full time) from a recognized government institute in any of the trades among Welder/Turner/Fitter/ electrician/Motor vehicle mechanic.

Operator-cum-Technician, Trainee – In the pay scale of Rs 15830 – 3 per cent – 22150
Attendant-cum-Technician, Trainee – In the pay scale of Rs 16800 – 3 per cent – 24110
How to apply
Candidates can apply online on the official website of SAIL by filling the application in the prescribed format. Candidates from General/OBS category will have to pay the amount of Rs 250 as application fees for Operator-cum-Technician, Trainee. Whereas candidates from General/OBS category will have to pay the amount of Rs 150 as application fees for Attendant-cum-Technician, Trainee.
