Qualification in Details:
1. Qualification: BA/B.Sc with Home Science, Food & Nutrition, Anthropology, Sociology, Social Work, Life Sciences, Public Health, Statistics, from a recognized university.
2. Desirable: Higher qualifications and Working experience in health & nutrition projects and knowledge of computer applications added advantage.
3. Responsibility: The Project Assistants will be responsible for the collection of data and anthropometric measurements with quality, administration of concurrent monitoring checklist and data validation, tabulation and preparation fact sheet and time series analysis under the overall guidance under the Programme Manager and Principal Investigator
a. Undertake at least 14 days field visits for conducting concurrent monitoring at Anganwadi Centres, sector, block and district levels.
b. Data management of the regular ICDS MIS and run various time series analysis.
c. Attend the block and sector level review meetings and share the field findings for taking corrective actions.
d. Provide hand holding support at the ICDS Project level in improving data quality
e. Support ICDS supervisors and AWW/ASHA in identifying hot spot of malnutrition through secondary data and field visits.
f. Take anthropometric measurement of weight, height and MUAC along with corresponding AWW and maintain records in the template along with completion of Inform and report on any issues related concurrent monitoring checklist.
g. Support Block level ICDS supervisors in supportive supervision besides fill-up checklist at VHND sessions and also attend ICDS sector and block, district level meetings;
4. Experience: Knowledge on ICDS programme desirable. Working Experience with any local public health programs will be an advantage.
