National Book Trust India or BT is a renowned name in book house. Recently it has announced the vacancy for various junior posts and had invited application for 10 posts. The applications are asked for the position of lower division Clerk and Junior Stenographer but on a contract basis. The application can be done on or before 09/12/2013 only.
It could be described as an apex body which is under the government control dealing with the department of higher education by Ministry of Human Development in 1957. The aim of Human Resource Ministry behind creation of NBT was to maintain reading practice among mass along with the creation of reading book culture in the nation.
National Book Trust (NBT) Vacancy Details:
Position Name :
- 1) Junior Stenographer with compatibility in English. 3 vacancies are there for this post.
- 2) 7 vacancies for lower division clerks.
Number of Vacancies : 10
Pay Scale :
- (1) For junior stenographer pay is Rs. 18000/- per month.
- (2) For lower division Clerk the pay is Rs. 13500/-
Eligibility Criteria :
Age limit : He/she should not exceed the age of 30 on the form submission day, 09/12/2013.
Educational Qualification :
- For the post of the junior stenographer: He/she should be comfortable with English and should be graduated through any recognized university. He/ she should know shorthand and typing. He/she could take dictation with a speed of 80 words per minute with transcription and 65 mts in Hindi or 50mts in English over computer.
- For the post of lower division Clerk: he/she should be higher secondary or equivalent passed from a recognized board.
Selection Process : Eligible candidates would be selected based on their performance in Interview.
