KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment – Detailed Eligibility:
.Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from university/Institute recognised by AICTE with not
then less 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA taking average of all the Semesters/Years.
.The candidate should possess a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) Score in the
years 2016 /2017 /2018 in respective/equivalent stream of examination

KRCL-Konkan Railway Recruitment 2018-Selection Process:
The recruitment process shall involve Computer Based Test to Test of English Language will be of qualifying nature. In the second stage candidates based on GATE Merrit equal to twice the number of vacancy who Qualified in Computer Based Test will be called for Document Verification.
Scheme of Computer Based Test (CBT):
.Computer Based Test will be conducted on proficiency in English language, full mark is 100 and will be
having two sections of 50 marks each, Subjective and Objective.
.Duration- two and half hours
.Subjective part will be consisting of Essay writing, letter writing, Precies writing etc. Candidates will
themselves do computer typing while writing essay etc.
.Objective portion will be containing comprehension, grammar etc. There will be 50 questions each carrying
one marks.
.There shall be negative marking in CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for
each wrong answer.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60%
