Other Qualification Details:
1. Soldier General Duty (Sol GD):
a. Education Qualification: SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33 % marks in each subject. No aggregate percentage required for higher qualification i.e. 10+2 and above. However minimum 33 % in each subject required. Candidates passing 10th in Grade System will have minimum D grade in each subject and overall aggregate C-2 grade or 4.75 pts.
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 170, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 17 ½ – 21 Years.
2. Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management:
a. Education Qualification: 10 + 2 / Intermediate Exam pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60 % marks in aggregate and minimum 50 % in each subject. Should have studied and passed English and Maths / Accounts / Book Keeping in Class X or Class XII with 50 % marks in each subject.
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 162, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 17 ½ – 23 Years.
3. Soldier Technical:
a. Education Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject.
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 170, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 17 ½ – 23 Years.
4. Soldier Technical (Aviation / Ammunition Examiner):
a. Education Qualification: 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile / Computer Science / Electronic & Instrumentation)
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 170, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 17 ½ – 23 Years.
5. Soldier Survey Automated Cartographer (SAC) (Engineers):
a. Education Qualification: BA/BSc with Mathematics. Must have also passed 12th class (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and main subjects from a recognized board/university.
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 170, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 20 – 25 Years.
6. Soldier Tradesmen (8th & 10th):
a. Education Qualification: 10th Pass / ITI (Except Mess Keeper and House Keeper who must be 8th pass)
b. Minimum Physical Requirement: Height – 170, Weight – 50, Chest (CM) – 77 ( + 5 CM expansion)
c. Age (Years): 17 ½ – 23 Years
