Indian Air Force has issued a notification for unmarried male Indian citizens from all the Districts of State of Punjab & Union Territory of Chandigarh for Airmen for Group Y trades. Eligible and interested candidates may register from 12th April to 15th April 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit: Candidates upper age limit should not exceed 21 years. In other words candidates should be born between 01-08-1994 to 30-19-1997 (both days inclusive).
Educational Qualifications:
Candidates must have passed Intermediate/ 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central/State Education Boards, with at least 50% marks and 50% marks in English. Refer to official recruitment notification for more detail about post wise educational qualification.

Pay Scale
- During training: Rs. 8,550/-per month
- After Training: Rs.23,655/-per month
Selection Procedure
The candidates will be evaluated through 04 different recruitment process for recruiting the eligible candidates, which are
- Written Test
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Interview
- Medical Examination
Selection Programme:
The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards. Candidates reporting upto 10AM on 12 April 2014 at the Rally venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Rally.
