  • Pay Scale:

Rs 14500-600 /7-18700-700 /2-20100-800 /7-25700 as applicable to the Junior Management Grade Scale I

Starting pay of Rs.16, 900 + DA + HRA+ CCA as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • (A) Essential Academic Qualifications :

Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Those who are in the Final year of their Graduation/Semester may also apply

Provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 10.08.2014.

Candidate having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 10.08.2014

Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2014 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1984 and not later than 01.04.1993 (both days inclusive)

  • Application Fee:

1. General and other unreserved candidates are required to pay Rs. 500/- while SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ PWD category candidates will have to pay Rs. 100/- as application fee.

2. Application fee should be paid either through Online of Offline mode.

  • Online Payment Mode:

1. The system will generate a cash voucher/ challan form pre-printed with the candidate’s details which will be required to be presented at any State Bank of India branch counter with the requisite fee.

2. On payment of the requisite fee through computer generated challan form, registration of the online application will be complete.

 

  • Offline Payment Mode: The payment can be made by using debit card/ credit card/Internet Banking.

 

Note: Application fee should be deposited in any branch of Odisha Gramya Bank or remit the fee through NEFT from any commercial bank branch.

  • Online Registration and Payment of Charges Dates: 7th of April, 2014 to 25th of April, 2014

Examination Scheme:

The written exam consists of Objective Tests (200 marks) in objective type questions on the following 4 sections:

 I. English Language: This section contains questions on Grammar, Vocabulary and Comprehension etc.

II. General Awareness, Marketing and Computers

III. Data Analysis and Interpretation

IV. Reasoning (High Level)

The Descriptive Test (50 marks) is a 1 hour test of English Language which consists of questions on Comprehension, Short Précis, Letter Writing and Essay.

The candidates will have to qualify in each section of the paper in order to qualify in the round with the minimum percentage of marks as decided by the Bank on the basis of the collective performance of the candidates in the test.

The marks obtained by the candidates in the Objective and the Descriptive Tests will be converted to out of 75 and marks obtained in the GD and Interview will be converted out of 25 for arriving at the final merit list which is out of 100 for each category. The final selections will be made from the top ranked candidates in each category.
